Limbach Gruppe SE is a network of more than 30 independent laboratories in Germany that supply physicians, medical practices, hospitals, and healthcare institutions with lab diagnostics. For companies in sensitive industries such as medicine and diagnostics, stable, end-to-end quality-assured systems are business-critical.

The challenges brought on by the pandemic further intensified the focus on reliable SAP systems. Limbach Gruppe SE was looking for a way to efficiently ensure the quality of its SAP systems – the decision came down in favor of the suxxesso Tool Suite.

From proof of concept to full automation

In 2018, the suxxesso Tool Suite was installed during a multi-day proof of concept at the company’s headquarters in Heidelberg and tested with employees from various departments. Even during the PoC, the first test cases were successfully created in the SAP MM and SD modules.

Following a three-day workshop for the test automation team, a comprehensive set of test cases was quickly built – covering purchasing, goods receipt, goods issue, inventory, posting, and invoicing. The intuitive user interface and the suite’s SAP specialization won over everyone involved.

In the next step, the test cases were extended with fully automated test data provisioning via the suxxesso Data Manager – the key to true full automation.
